Having trained with the Art Academy of Los Angeles, Lino has a strong background in traditional art and is one of the industry's most talented digital matte painters currently in the UK.
Lino has recently completed work on Disney's John Carter where he was heading the matte painting department at Cinesite creating highly detailed environments of Edgar J. Burrows vision of Mars.
Since relocating to London in 2004 Lino has used his artistic skills to outstanding effect creating stunning matte paintings on feature films including: Battle Los Angeles, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Prince of Persia, The Golden Compass, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Prior to that, he has worked at Sony Imageworks, Culver City as a senior digital artist on The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions and at Centropolis Effects on The Scorpion King.
With experience in feature film, television and commercials Lino's skills do not just lie with digital matte painting he is also an accomplished digital concept and VFX artist.
He comes from Montreal and is currently based in London, UK.
